Inspired by an authentic  Lakota Scalp Shirt, Joe & Angie have created this Tradition Collection to replicate  the original style using tanned deer hide leather, human hair scalp-lock drops, leather fringes and hand beading using  thousands of trade beads. Appreciated for their beauty and display of tribal honor, the painted designs and sewn-on ornaments give this war apparel a sense of historical power and presence. The symbols painted on the war shirt and leggings relate to the experiences of the Indian warrior / hunter.
